Highlighted features:
- Extensive measurement – When paired with i-Tracker, which has an extensive field of view, i-Probe can measure parts from up to 6 meters far. The tracking distance can be extended to 10 meters. Its wide-area measurement capability allows it to measure large objects with incredible accuracy and performance.
- Metrology-grade results – TrackProbe adopts high-precision optical tracking and robust algorithms to measure the shapes and GD&T of different parts with high accuracy. The volume accuracy is 0.089 mm for 49.0 m³, 0.067 mm for 28.6 m³, and 0.049 mm for 10.4m³.
- Deep hidden points – Thanks to its 500-mm length (excluding the stylus), and advanced algorithm, the i-Probe can measure reference holes, hidden points or hard-to-reach locations easily with high accuracy even when some of its targets are obscured. This makes it easy to measure and adjust to different structures. It is especially ideal for measuring automobile parts, intricate structures of aviation components, pipelines, holes, and irregular parts.
- Continuous measuring – The probe locations can be approached from any direction as long as the i-Probe is in the optical tracker cameras’ field of view. The tracker can monitor and map i-Probe poses to coordinate systems in real time, allowing it to measure continually without repositioning.
- Easy to move – Only a couple of markers are required for i-Tracker to move and keep tracking the i-Probe thanks to advanced software and positioning algorithms. It is very effective at obtaining data of large parts over long distances and significantly streamlines the measuring and moving processes.
Flexible and Portable:
- Data transfer – TrackProbe provides wired and wireless data transfer options. The wireless mode enables users to measure on-site with no mechanical or cable limits, but the wired mode provides additional safety and reliability for data transfer in unexpected situations.
- Seamless switch between scanning and probing – TViewer, a self-developed 3D software, can automatically integrate the coordinate systems of scan and probing data, allowing users to seamlessly switch between scanning and probing, resulting in smoother measuring experiences.
- Diverse use – The i-Probe is light, portable, and reliable. It can work in a variety of environments, regardless of vibrations, temperature changes, humidity, or lighting. It uses dynamic referencing to calculate and correct position deviations, allowing for high-precision measurements on manufacturing floors or outdoors. It can work with complex surfaces, high-precision parts, and large-scale parts without trouble.
