Lightweight
The AM-CELL C200, which is 70% lighter and 60% smaller than its predecessor, is a standardized 3D solution for measuring parts throughout product development and inspection. Its components can be easily integrated into the finished system within two days by a single operator. This plug-and-play technology enables labor-free automatic measuring and manual robot teaching for quick path planning, lowering the barrier to professional operations.
Modular and Flexible
C200’s modular functional design and small footprint allow it to be deployed in L-shaped, I-shaped, T-shaped, and standalone layouts to fit into a variety of working environments. Its standard interfaces are compatible with a variety of external devices, allowing for versatile measurements. Its cobot can work with numerous positioners, allowing operators to change parts on one while the others continue to work. As a result, manufacturers can reduce downtime and greatly improve measurement efficiency.
Innovatively safe
The system is designed with active safety features. To avoid hazards, its robot and turntables are outfitted with servo-mechanists that provide force feedback. There is no need for a physical fencer because it has a ten-level collision detection. As a result, human operators and measuring systems can coexist in the workplace while maintaining safety.
Intelligent measurements
The C200 is compatible with Scantech’s TrackScan-P series optical tracking 3D systems and can automatically measure parts without sticking targets. Because of its improved stability, users may measure hundreds of parts efficiently and consistently, achieving reliable and repeatable results.
The C200 enables operators to inspect edges automatically, and its sophisticated gray value measuring provides precise results. Users can acquire accurate 3D data on closed features such as holes, slots, and rectangles of stamping and machined parts on-site.
Quality Control
C200 is compatible with a variety of MES systems and automated quality control software used in industrial manufacturing. With a single button, users can activate templates, calculate data, prepare inspection reports, and evaluate statistics to get insights that can improve production efficiency and assure exact quality control.
- For R&D: The C200 has a measurement rate that is five times faster than that of standard CMMs, which is crucial for accelerating research and development, reducing ramp time, and shortening time-to-market for innovative products.
- For manufacturing: It offers single-part inspection, multi-part inspection, and batch inspection with analysis of trends. This allows users to track the evolution of batches, predict the trend of defective items, reduce rejection rates, and assure manufacturing stability.
Vast applications:
- Shop Floor: The measuring cell enables on-site measurement on the shop floor, regardless of lighting or temperature changes. It can correctly measure items even in harsh work area conditions.
- CMM Room: The system can operate securely and consistently without the need for special settings. Physical fencing is optional and depends on the needs of the users.
- Educational Settings: With numerous programming methods, teachers and even students with little experience can learn how to operate the measurement system safely in a short time. It demonstrates our dedication to creating a talent expansion ecosystem through a combination of industry, universities, and research.
