The iReal 2E is an affordable color 3D scanner with a large depth of field and scanning area, suited for medium to large objects and portrait scanning. With infrared VCSEL structured light, you can experience the safety and comfort of lightless scanning. It can quickly capture the color, texture, and geometry of an object’s surface without using markers. Cutting-edge algorithm, simple software, ergonomic design, and portability allow the user to develop an efficient, accurate, texture-rich color 3D scanning solution.

  • Safe light source – The scanning projection light source (infrared VCSEL, invisible light) and the fill light (LED cold light source) around the scanning lens are all low-energy light sources.

Optimized for human body scanning

The human body is flexible, so during scanning it may tremble or move slightly, collecting numerous data points on the same area of the body. Most conventional algorithms do not support normal alignment or mislayers. As one of the professional 3D body scanners on the market, iReal 3D uses a non-rigid surface fitting algorithm that can automatically eliminate multiple sets of data generated by minor shaking and then align data together, considerably lowering the cost of data restoration.

The iReal 2E 3D human body scanner includes a hair enhancement option and is very adaptable to both dark and light colors. This non-contact 3D scanner can do seamless alignment and a full-body scan in 4 minutes.

There’re some special requirements such as naked body scanning when applied to medical or art fields. So, our full-body 3D scanner supports 3D scan in dark environments, offering users a better scanning experience and ensuring precise capture of the human body.

Scanner technical features:

  • Large scanning area – A large, 580 mm x 550 mm wide-angle field of view (FoV) allows to scan medium- to large-sized objects quickly and accurately.
  • Deep depth of field – iReal 2E color 3D scanner offers a scanning depth of field of 720mm, allowing for more freedom in operation and lowers user requirements.
  • Powerful data capture – Up to 1.5 million points of data are gathered each second using a new generation of 3D sensors and an algorithm optimization system.
  • Without markers – Scan objects directly, without the use of markers, when they are full of continuous, non-repetitive, and widely diverse geometric/textural elements.
  • Alignment modes – iReal 2E supports four alignment modes: feature, texture, mixed and marker alignment (the first three modes are suitable for scanning objects with rich geometric or texture features).
  • Constantly updated algorithm – According on user feedback, the 3D reconstruction and alignment algorithms in the iReal 3D scanning software will be updated frequently, improving user friendliness for alignment processes.

Recommendations:

Material adaptability: when 3D scanning items with transparent/highly reflective/black and shiny surfaces, it is recommended to use contrast powder before scanning.
