KSCAN-Magic 3D Scanner

KSCAN-Magic Upgrade Series is innovative composite 3D scanner, which combines infrared and blue lasers in a single flexible instrument, suitable for a wide range of applications. This composite 3D scanner has five common operating modes: large-area scanning with parallel infrared lasers, ultra-fast scanning with blue laser crosses, hyperfine scanning with blue parallel lasers, deep-hole scanning with a single blue laser, and an integrated large-area photogrammetry system.

This cutting-edge 3D scanner series utilizes a multi-spectrum 3D scanning and calibration approach that combines outstanding efficacy and unmatched accuracy. It offers a fast scanning speed, high accuracy, great detail capture, a large scanning area, and an extended depth-of-field, which significantly optimizes 3D measuring processes and cuts down product time-to-market.

Five operating modes:

  • Large area scanning – KSCAN-Magic innovatively adopts large-area scanning powered by 11 infrared parallel laser lines. Its scanning area reaches 1440 mm × 860 mm, enabling easy wide-range measuring.
  • Ultra fast scanning – It can 3D scan with 17 blue laser crosses and capture up to 4,150,000 measurements per second, enhancing work efficiency significantly.
  • Built in large area photogrammetry – With a shooting area of 3760 mm × 3150 mm, the built-in infrared photogrammetry system can efficiently reduce the accumulated errors generated by large-sized measurements, ensuring volumetric accuracy. It is especially useful for scanning larger objects and measuring them efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Hyperfine scanning – With 7 parallel blue laser lines, KSCAN-Magic Upgrade Series 3D scanner can accurately collect entire data on complicated objects, catching every detail with a maximum resolution of 0.010 mm.
  • Deep hole scanning – Single blue laser line scanning mode gathers 3D data accurately in hard to reach or access positions.

Metrology-grade NDT Measuring

Its scanning accuracy is of up to 0.020 mm, and its volumetric accuracy is 0.015 mm + 0.012 mm/m when paired with MSCAN-L15 photogrammetry system, which delivers ultra-high precision NDT for various industries.

  • Pipe measurement – KSCAN-Magic can 3D scan pipes of various diameters and materials because of its multiple working modes. It can perform pipe inspection and reverse engineering when paired with optional software.
  • Automated 3D system – When combined with the automated 3D inspection system from Scantech, it allows for simple deployment and intelligent control for automated batch inspections.
