Real-time precise scanning
iReal 3D introduces innovative methods to scan with incredible compatibility in both low and high resolutions, achieving the ideal combination of efficiency and quality. The new feature enables users to position 3D scanners close to areas to obtain delicate 3D models (resolution of up to 0.2mm), as well as scan areas with few details in a long range for a larger field of view, reducing alignment errors and scanning time (scanning distance of up to 1,000 mm).
Smart Color Map
This new function enables customers to monitor the scanning process in real time, ensuring precise scanning results. When scanning an object, a green color map suggests high-quality data capture, whereas red indicates the opposite. The visible color changes are useful for determining data quality, and a close-range and multi-angle scan may transition red to green.
Multi-scene switch
The iReal 3D scanning software allows for multi-scene switching between the project interface, point cloud, mesh files, and color mapping. It allows you to move back to the project interface to continue scanning and setting new resolutions, or to the point cloud interface to re-finalize or optimize mesh files. Users can experiment with different 3D scanning outcomes under various parameter settings without being limited in the number of times, and the entire operation process is simple enough for beginners.
Undo data by frame
If a scanning error occurs, we can choose to remove local point cloud data and re-scan the parts, or to recall the incorrect data per frame to significantly save on-site working time and improve the scan experience.
Seamless switch to GOM inspect
The iReal 3D scanning software works well with GOM Inspect 3D software. After obtaining STL data, it can do data identification, comparison, analysis, and processing via a direct reading interface with GOM Inspect, providing iReal 3D users with high-precision data.
3D identification and measurement
It can determine the length between points, the angle between lines, and the curved area of triangular meshes in 3D models. Mesh refinement helps smooth the edges of 3D mesh data, which improves measurement accuracy. This capability can suit the simple 3D measurement needs in daily work.
Model alignment
It allows for the registration of point cloud files to build a complete 3D model when several scans are required, including large data generated for scanning big objects and front and back alignment for small items. When two color point cloud files are aligned, the color and texture information can be used to create a color triangular mesh model (OBJ file format).
Small thin-wall castings scanning
When scanning a small thin-wall casting, after applying sufficient markers to the front and rear surfaces, place a mark point on each of the three sides of the edge. Under the marker alignment mode, the mark points on the front and rear sides are automatically aligned using the three common mark points on the edge.
Data recovery
If the software closes unexpectedly, the data can be automatically recovered by restarting the software without re-scanning, reducing the possibility of an unexpected exit and increasing work efficiency.
