iReal – 3D Mapping Software

Scantech’s iReal 3D Mapping Software is specifically built for 3D scanners (and may be adapted to multiple brands). It will map multi-angle images acquired with mobile phones or DSLRs to the 3D scan model, resulting in a high-precision, high-definition, and true-color 3D model. Its algorithm integrates 3D photogrammetry, AI image recognition, texture fusion, and seam line editing methods. It offers customers more advanced solutions in areas like 3D digitization of cultural heritage, 3D display, VR e-commerce, 3D database construction, and more.

The semi-automatic processing flow simplifies operations and demands relatively basic professional skills from engineers. Meanwhile, the texture processing time for each common item has been lowered to half an hour, while the standard method for each item takes at least 2–5 hours. Furthermore, because of the automated approach, one engineer may be provided with numerous computers to process multiple models at the same time, considerably improving production efficiency and lowering production costs when creating 3D color models.

Good adaptability and versatility

It can meet the demands for true-color 3D models of nearly any object. Furthermore, it can import stl/obj data from all 3D scanner brands (Scantech 3D scanners have particular optimization and superior adaptability), allowing it to satisfy the texture needs of customers using various brands of equipment.

Simple operation, efficient output

Over 95% of all processes are automated. It is simple to use for 3D engineers that are without previous training. The highly integrated and sophisticated system allows engineers to complete texture creation and refining (for standard models) in 30 minutes.

One-stop processing

When local textures need to be corrected, engineers can finish the entire process in the software using functions such as seam line editing, single photo mapping replacement, one-key color leveling, and plug-in Photoshop refinement.

High resolution, lossless quality

A single model’s output supports resolutions of 4k/8K/16K and multiple 16K (full resolution) textures, preserving all texture information from the original acquired image, achieving zero loss of image resolution, and restoring every detail to the fullest extent possible.

Precise mapping

Natural and seamless texture fusion, texture accuracy ≤ 0.1mm, color uniformity (color consistency between numerous photos) ≥ 95%; Image imperfections (foreign object mapping, highlights, lens contamination, etc.) ≤ 0.01%.
